Hornet Ask Fans To Get Involved With Debut Album Via PledgeMusic

Fast-rising hard rockers Hornet, who have been described as the band who will revolutionise the music industry just as The Sex Pistols did, have announced details of their long-awaited as-yet-untitled debut album.

Teaming up with up-and-coming producer Phil Kinman and mastering engineer of Iron Maiden’s ‘From Fear To Eternity’ and Steve Harris’ recent solo album ‘British Lion’, Ade Emsley, Hornet's debut full length is set for release in June 2013 and the band want YOU to be a part of the process!

Hornet will be involved in PledgeMusic, the hands-on, direct-to-fan platform which gives music fans the opportunity to get involved with their band's music. Fans can ‘pledge’ for an advance copy of the album which will be pre-released through PledgeMusic in April 2013 with 10% of any money raised after the target is reached going to MacMillan Cancer Support.

"Hi guys,

We are pleased to finally announce that we are ready to record our long awaited debut album and we need your support to make this project a reality. We are set to record with producer Phil Kinman at his studio in Pinner, Northwest London and have the album mastered by mastering engineer Ade Emsley (Iron Maiden, Voodoo Six).

If you Pledge today you are ‘pre-ordering’ our, as yet untitled, debut album and will receive a digital copy in April 2013, months before the official release date!

There are also many more exclusive items available such as guitar tabs, hand written lyric sheets, your name in the liner notes, guitar and bass lessons, autographed drum skins, VIP tickets to the album launch party and even Tollef’s signed Gibson SG or Max’s signed Fender Jazz Bass used to record on the album!

10% of any money raised after the target is reached will go to MacMillan Cancer Support.

As we want you to be a part of the process we will also be keeping you updated regularly with photos, videos, studio blogs and much more so that you are involved in this album as much as we are… Please support us now and join our swarm!

Thanks,

Joe, Tollef, Max and Alex
