My Bloody Valentine have confirmed details of a short UK tour in March 2013.
The trio of UK dates, which will follow the group's planned dates in Japan and Australia in February, will be in support of a recently announced new album.
The new record, which is set for release early next year, will feature the band's first new material since 1991's 'Loveless' album. When asked about the long gap between new material, frontman Kevin Shields revealed: "I'm expecting some trouble but, you know what? I don't care about all of that."
"I know it's a record that's going to mean something to a significant amount of people who really liked us. The rest, I don't really care about."
