Carousel Unveil 'Stay Awake' - Listen Now

New York electro-pop outfit Carousel have unveiled their brand new single ‘Stay Awake’, their first release following a six-month hiatus.

With an EP to be released in 2013, Carousel are ending 2012 in style by releasing brand new track ‘Stay Awake’. Brimming with the pop sensibility and delicate electro that has been pivotal to their fast rise, ‘Stay Awake’ is sure to be another sure-fire hit from this prolific pair. Perfect for the chilly winter months, its yet another example of why it’s right to be excited about Carousel - next year will be a big one.

The famous Berklee College Of Music has contributed enormously to the music industry, boasting artists as instrumental as Passion Pit among their alumni. Carousel look set to be part of the next wave of artists to emerge from the hallowed halls of the Boston institution. Comprised of duo Kevin Friedman and Jackson Phillips, Carousel create gloriously layered sounds which perfectly straddle a plethora of genre. Carousel began developing a reputation as one of the most exciting up and coming bands around in late 2011 when they gave away EP ‘26 Allston’ for free download, and haven’t looked back since.

Following that EP, tracks ‘Where Have You Gone?’ and ‘Let’s Go Home’ have served to further fuel the fire surrounding this exciting duo. Now, they’ve unleashed ‘Stay Awake’ - check it out below now.
