Australian psych-rock outfit Tame Impala have announced a June 2013 UK gig, following on from the release of their brand new second album ‘Lonerism’.
The award-winning outfit recently finished a four-date UK tour, and have already scheduled another date with the country - this time swapping the bitter November cold for the almost-warm UK summer.
The gig will see them performing in London’s Hammersmith Apollo on June 25th next year, and will feature a range of material new and old. Tickets go on sale this Friday (December 14th) at 9am, and will cost you Ł19.50 + fees - you can find yours through Stereoboard.
The band recently picked up the J Award for Australian Album of the Year - making them the only band to have picked up two J Awards for Album of the Year, and the only band to have received one for every album they’ve released, having received one for their 2010 debut record ‘Innerspeaker’.
Their new album provided us with brand new single ‘Feels Like We’re Going Backwards’ - you can check that out below.
