Bill Wyman To Release Scrapbook Of His Life

Bill Wyman - former bassist in The Rolling Stones - is to release of his scrapbook of his life.

The book is the first of its kind by any Stones member, revealing the personal journey from boy to man to the present day in a glorious pictorial record, accompanied throughout by personal anecdotes and a handwritten commentary.

The book is strictly limited edition, restricted to a volume of only 1,962 copies (the year of the Stones’ first live appearance). The format is large, 370mm x 290mm, handmade in England, and housed in a luxurious clamshell box. Each copy will be numbered and certificated, and also hand signed by Bill Wyman.

The majority is previously unseen content, and Bill has hand written notes on most pages, explaining the significance of the images and revealing his inner most thoughts about all parts of his fascinating life.

It is widely known that Bill Wyman has kept a long and accurate record and account of his historic involvement with the band, and also his personal life. Now, it’s time for all to be revealed in this exciting new scrapbook.

“I made my first scrapbooks as a child, growing up in wartime, which my mother later threw away calling it ‘silly kids stuff,” Wyman revealed. “I made a dozen or more scrapbooks when The Stones began – and I’ve been collecting the ‘silly kids stuff’ ever since…! Here is a new scrapbook that contains a wonderful variety of items and incidents that have meant something special to me throughout this varied and amazing life that I am still enjoying to the full. Please share with me these wonderful memories.”
