A Day To Remember Reveal First Track From Long Awaited New Album - US Tour Dates Also Unveiled

American rockers A Day to Remember have revealed the first single from their hugely-anticipated and long-awaited fifth studio album ‘Common Courtesy’ - as well as the details of a US tour.

The five-piece uploaded fresh track ‘Violence (Enough is Enough)’ to their website earlier today, with the YouTube video seeing thousands of hits already. As well as a new track, US fans have been treated to a 25-date, March and April 2013 tour, with the site also stating that ‘more info’ is coming soon - suggesting there could even be a UK tour in the works.

If all that good news wasn’t enough for you, the band have also got a fifth album set to come out in 2013 - and the release is creeping closer and closer. Speaking to Revolver Magazine, frontman Jeremey McKinnon has revealed what the album is all about.

“I was just trying to talk about different perspectives from the world and why people do terrible things to each other. It started out, to me, feeling like you’re helpless. It felt like everything is so much bigger than you–there are people above you no matter where you go.

He continued: “That kind of control of what you can and can’t do. It’s really not meant to be political as it might sound–that’s just never been our band. But it’s that feeling that things are out of your hands. I wanted it to have this dark, ominous feeling.”

You can check out the track in the YouTube embed below. If you’re an American fan, check out the dates and details of the tour below - follow the links to find tickets through Stereoboard.
