Andrea Bocelli Lines Up QVC Performance To Promote New Album 'Passione'

Italian classical crossover star Andrea Bocelli is to perform on QVC later this month, to promote his brand new album ‘Passione’, out January 29th.

The highly-acclaimed artist is scheduled to make a special appearance on the channel on Sunday, January 27 at 5pm to debut his brand new, fourteenth studio album ‘Passione.’ During the Andrea Bocelli Q Sessions Live show, Bocelli will be joined by legendary producer David Foster as he performs a selection of songs from his latest release and reveals the inspiration behind the romantically beautiful CD. Fans will also have the opportunity to order the record - which will be bundled especially for QVC with six bonus tracks - before it hits regular stores.

Featuring a lush collection of Mediterranean love songs, ‘Passione’ includes duets with global pop stars Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado, and the late Edith Piaf, and was produced by 16-time Grammy Award Winner Foster. On the album, Bocelli sings in six languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Neapolitan) using his hugely popular and unmistakable voice, as Foster accompanies him on piano, along with Peruvian guitarist Ramon Stagnaro. The sensual sound is rounded out by Cuban, Brazilian, and Portuguese rhythms and a 63-piece orchestra recorded in London.

To celebrate the QVC debut of ‘Passione,’ including the six bonus tracks, the multimedia retailer is scheduled to offer the set more than a week before Bocelli’s appearance. The specially-packaged bundle will be available starting January 18th at QVC.com - or call 18003451515, while supplies last. Check out a teaser video below.
