Destiny's Child Announce Return With New Song 'Nuclear'

In a week full of surprises, Destiny's Child have announced their reunion and details of a brand new track.

Entitled 'Nuclear', the new song was produced by Pharrell Williams and was co-written by Pharrell and Michelle Williams. The track is taken from a new Destiny's Child compilation album - 'Love Songs' - which is set for release on 29th January (available to pre-order here).

Beyonce Knowles revealed the news this afternoon with a message via Twitter: "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!". The message also features on Beyonce's official website and appears under the headline 'Destiny's Child Love Songs'.

Following the release of their fifth album, 2004's 'Destiny Fulfilled', Destiny's Child have been non-existent. Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have all pursued their own solo careers in music, film and television.

Destiny's Child were regarded as one of the world's most successful R&B groups, dominating the charts with hits such as 'Bootylicious', 'Survivor', 'Say My Name' and 'Bills, Bills, Bills'.
