Channel 4's 'Launched At Red Bull Studio' Returns To TV Screens Next Week

Wednesday 23rd January 2013 sees the return of Channel 4’s new music series 'Launched at Red Bull Studio'... in association with Lacoste.

Presented by Radio 1 DJ and Red Bull Studio regular Annie Mac, 10 episodes of ‘Launched...’ will be airing over five weeks, shining the spotlight on ten carefully chosen artists set to make their mark in 2013.

Red Bull Studio and Lacoste L!ve have teamed up to give established artists and tastemakers the opportunity to recommend their tips for 2013, showcasing what is often the hotly tipped artists’ first TV performance. With a line-up that includes two of the three 2013 BRITs Critic’s Choice Award nominees, and four acts named amongst the BBC’s Sounds of 2013, ’Launched...’ is the go-to show for getting to know the artists you’ll be listening to all year. The ten part series will see Katy B recommending AlunaGeorge, Gary Barlow introducing A*M*E, The Vaccines championing Deap Vally and Emeli Sandé advocating Laura Mvula. Other hotly tipped artists include Willy Moon, Syron, The 1975, Bastille, Cheatahs and Arlissa.

Filmed as part interview and part live performance at the Red Bull Studio, the series offers artists the chance to showcase the reasons for their inclusions in so many of the January prediction lists. Join Red Bull Studio in January to set the scene for the coming year of music, as 'Launched at Red Bull Studio...' in association with Lacoste begins Wednesday 23rd January 2013 at midnight on Channel 4.
