Saxon Announce Release Date For New Album 'Sacrifice'

Heavy Metal front-runners, Saxon release their new studio album 'Sacrifice' on 25th February.

Image'Sacrifice', the band's 20th album, features 10 of Saxon's strongest, heaviest, most inspired songs for many-a-year. "Less tricks, More Power" says frontman Biff Byford.

Regarded as one of the leading bands of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal era, Saxon scored chart success from singles such as '747 (Strangers In The Night)' and 'And the Bands Played On'.

Now, nearly 35 years since their formation, Saxon are still rocking hard - are back with their 2013 'Sacrifice' tour. The band will embark on a UK tour in April.
