Crystal Castles Unveil 'Sad Eyes' Video - Watch Now

Canadian duo Crystal Castles have unveiled the brand new video to their track ‘Sad Eyes’ - you can check it out below.

The new single is the fourth to be taken from their third studio album ‘(III)’, and is set for a release on February 25th. If you can’t wait for the track to hit shelves, you can check it out below - backed by the band’s first official video, directed and edited by long-term friends Rob Hawkins and Marc Pannozzo (Crime Wave).

2012 was the year that Crystal Castles well and truly cemented their reputation as one of the most wildly exciting, most uncompromising bands in the world. Greeted by sweaty, reverently moshing fans in countries across the globe – they closed the year out having played to over 1 million people around the planet, and their live show has become one of the most talked about in music. Just ask the 40,000 Reading Festival attendees who flocked to the main stage at 4pm to catch their set last summer, the largest daytime audience the festival has ever witnessed.

To make the year all the more memorable, the release of their third full-length album was met with rave reviews across the board from critics and fans alike, and served as possibly their most controversial and political output to date. ‘Sad Eyes’ is the fourth track to be plucked from the record, after ‘Wrath of God’, ‘Plague’, and ‘Affection’ all caused cyber-storms upon being unveiled online prior to album release. The track is a large-room speedball, combining a frenetic rave beat with Alice Glass’ decaffeinated, fragile vocals, occupying the middle ground between ecstasy and despair - check out it’s video below.
