Blur, The Stone Roses, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, And Phoenix All Confirmed To Headline Coachella

Britpop icons Blur and Manchester legends The Stone Roses have been confirmed to headline the Fridays of this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, while American rockers The Red Hot Chili Peppers will round off the Sundays.

ImageThe Californian festival returns once again this year, taking place on the second and third weekends of April. With fans waiting eagerly in anticipation of the line-up, rumours began flying around the internet - but now, the wait is over, and you can see the poster on the right.

Headlining on the Saturday are French alt-rockers Phoenix, who will follow-on from acts such as The xx, Sigur Ros, Hot Chip, and many more. Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Jurassic 5, and Lou Reed will all join Blur and The Stone Roses on the Fridays.

With Red Hot Chili headlining, the Sundays are guaranteed to be epic, and will see them sharing the stage with Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, La Roux, Vampire Weekend, the legendary Wu Tang Clan, and many more.
