Fall Out Boy Announce Return With New Album And Tour

American pop-punk icons Fall Out Boy have returned today, with the announcement of a new track, album and some new tour dates, including a London Underworld Camden appearance on Feb 25th.

The band entered an indefinite hiatus in 2009, with many people doubting the band’s future as each of it’s members embarked on solo careers. But, it seems their solo careers haven’t quite found the success they were hoping for, as the band have now announced their return!

‘Save Rock and Roll’, what will be the band’s fifth studio album, is set to hit shelves on May 6th/7th, and will be followed by a tour of the world - with one London date lined-up for later this month (check out the full dates and details below). As well as the February and March tour dates, a full US tour is also scheduled for May and June.

A message on the band’s rejigged website reads: “When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. It’s why we started fall out boy in the first place. this isn't a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us. The future of fall out boy starts now. Save rock and roll...”


The band have also unveiled a brand new music video - which you can check out below - to accompany new single ‘My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark’.
