Jools Holland Announces Mammoth Autumn UK Tour

Ahead of his UK summer shows, boogie-woogie piano maestro Jools Holland has announced a massive UK tour for autumn 2013.

ImageAccompanied by his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra and special guest Melanie C, Jools Holland will lead an evening of first-class entertainment at venues across the UK in November and December.

Jools Holland will be supporting the release of his latest album 'The Golden Age Of Song', which was released in December last year by Rhino UK.

Having gone Gold within six weeks of release, 'The Golden Age Of Song' is Jools' first major collaboration since 2007's 'Moving Out To The Country'. The album features collaborations with some of the world's biggest stars, including Florence Welch, Tom Jones, Amy Winehouse and Cee-Lo Green.

The former Squeeze ivory-tickler has become one of the UK's most proficient jazz and blues pianists. Having toured extensively with his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, his charismatic personality, impeccably good taste and accessible music have made him one of the nations most well-respected, and well-loved, musicians.
