Following twenty one singles, seven albums, twenty five million record sales, hundreds of gigs, millions of memories and twenty years later, Boyzone have announced dates for their BZ20 anniversary tour.
2013 will see Ronan, Keith, Shane and Mikey take to the road once more to thank their fans for the incredible support and dedication they have shown over the past twenty years. Boyzone Tickets are on sale from 9am on Thursday 14th February, Valentines Day.
Announcing the dates on their official website, Boyzone posted the following: "Life was very different in 1993. We bought our music on CD’s and vinyl, mobile phones looked like bricks, there were only four channels on the telly and no-one had the ‘X Factor’ or a ‘Big Brother’. Meatloaf would do ‘Anything For You’, Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan were ‘Sleepless in Seattle’, David Beckham was in his first season at Man U and Facebook, YouTube, iTunes & Twitter were just pipe dreams.
But in November 1993 a bunch of young lads from the North side of Dublin would infamously appear on ‘The Late Late Show’ and the rest, as they say… is history."
Boyzone's BZ20 UK tour will kick off in Cardiff on December 2nd. The tour will visit most of the UK's biggest arenas - including two dates in London at The O2 and Wembley Arena - before concluding in Manchester just before Christmas.
