Ozzy Osbourne Says New Black Sabbath Album Is 'Possibly The Most Important' Of His Career

Iconic rocker Ozzy Osbourne has claimed that he and his band Black Sabbath’s hugely-anticipated new album is ‘quite possibly the most important album’ of his career, ahead of it’s expected release in June.

The legendary outfit announced a reunion of it's original line-up in 2011, and also revealed that they’d be getting back into the studio to work on what will be their nineteenth studio album. Entitled ‘13’, it’s progress has been hit with a number of hitches in the past year, including original drummer Bill Ward’s decision to not take part in the band’s reunion, and guitarist Tony Iommi's unfortunate cancer diagnosis.

But now, the reunion is blowing ahead at full steam once again, and Osbourne has revealed just how much this album means to him in a brand new teaser video, which you can check out embedded below.

“Black Sabbath don't write songs you hear on the radio… we write musical pieces,” Ozzy says. “I wanted it to sound current, yet still have that Sabbath vibe. This Black Sabbath album is quite possibly the most important album of my career. I guarantee there is going to be a Black Sabbath album.”

With the new album out in June, a lot of touring is expected, so keep your eyes peeled on Stereoboard for some announcements in the coming months. In the meantime, check out the trailer video below!
