Craig David To Return With Brand New Material Later This Year

Craig David has announced that he will release brand new material this year.
‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ was Craig’s last album which was released in 2010, making his next offering his first release in two years.
“The new album is what I’m working on right now with Marshall, hopefully for a 2013 release. It will take the R&B route as that is what I love; the direction is kind of a selection of songs that will eventually cement into an album. There is a garage feel on the album, just need to make the production a lot fresher for sure.” Craig commented in a recent interview with Pardon My Blog.
There is also set to be a world tour to accompany Craig’s new material. Musically Craig has been quiet in terms of new releases, however, he has been a busy man behind the scenes.
2011 saw Craig join fellow celebrities Scott Mills, Olly Murs and Dermot O’Leary in the Comic Relief desert trek. He also performed at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Cardiff.
