Tom McRae Announces April And May UK Tour

English singer-songwriter Tom McRae has announced a UK tour today, following on from the release of his sixth studio album ‘From the Lowlands’ last year.

The album is the second part of his 2010 record ‘The Alphabet of Hurricanes’, and this new tour will be the second time McRae has taken the record across the UK for a series of shows, following his trip back in October and November last year.

McRae kicks off the tour with a gig in Edinburgh’s Pleasance Theatre, before hitting venues in Bristol, York, Sheffield, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, and more. Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday (February 22nd), with prices ranging from £12.00-£19.00 + fees - you can find yours through Stereoboard using the dates and links provided below.

The 43-year-old describes his latest and sixth full studio release as 'a sadly beautiful record, a soulful, emotional journey', and it follows 2010's 'The Alphabet Of Hurricanes' which some fans consider his best since the wonderful self-titled debut that earned him a Mercury Prize nomination.
