Dub Pistols Unveil New Single 'Gunshot' - Listen Now

London dub collective Dub Pistols have unveiled their latest single ‘Gunshot’, as well as a number of wicked remixes.
‘Gunshot’ is the third single taken from the band’s critically-acclaimed fifth studio album ‘Worshipping The Dollar’, which saw a release last summer via Sunday Best Recordings. After the huge first double A-side single containing smooth jam ‘Alive’ and the pulsating DnB cut ‘Mucky Weekend’, as well as second single ‘Rock Steady’, ‘Worshipping The Dollar’ was featured in DJ Mag’s ‘LPs of 2012’ and Amazon UK’s ‘Top Albums of 2012’.
Now, it’s time for a further highlight from the full-length, which features longstanding collaborator and hip-hop legend MC Rodney P and vocals from reggae star Darrison. The longest track from ‘Worshipping The Dollar’, it will immediately transport you to the sun-kissed beaches of the Caribbean; marrying tropical trumpet melodies, muted guitar licks and down-tempo DnB beats.
With remixes from Jinx In Dub, Isaac Maya, Adam Prescot, and J Star & Jagged Hedz, who’ve all put their own tasty spin on the track, Dub Pistols will take you back to that summer you’ve been longing for - as Clash described it, it’s ‘Big beats, big breaks, big bass, and big smile!’
