Beyonce Rumoured To Headline V Festival 2013 - Official Announcement Due Monday 25th February

Now that the dust has settled from this morning's 'Mrs Carter Show' ticket frenzy, attentions have turned to what else Beyonce has line-up beyond her April and May UK tour.

ImageRumours began earlier this month, around Valentine's Day, that Beyonce had been signed up as a headline act for this year's V Festival. An official announcement by the festival's organisers is due on Monday 25th February at 8pm and Stereoboard believes that Beyonce's headline appearance is pretty much "a done deal".

V Festival have revealed: "We're close to signing another big name to headline the weekend and it's almost a done deal. Let's just say it's a booking worthy of a Queen."

Beyoncé is no stranger to the UK festival circuit. She performed at Glastonbury in 2011 and this year's V Festival will coincide with her 'Mrs Carter Show' global trek. Everything makes sense for her to appear at the festivals.

In addition to Beyonce, other acts rumoured to appear at this year's V Festival include Kings Of Leon, Haim and Azealia Banks. Rihanna was also rumoured to top the V bill but now sources say the singer will be performing at Glastonbury instead.

V festival returns to Hylands Park in Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire, over the weekend of Saturday 17th August and Sunday 18th August. Manchester indie legends The Stone Roses and American rockers The Killers headlined last summer's weekend.

Check back to Stereoboard for details on Monday's official V Festival announcement.
