British Blues-Rock Guitarist Danny Bryant To Release New Album 'Hurricane' In May - Listen Now

British-bred blues rock guitarist, Danny Bryant, will release his hotly tipped new studio album 'Hurricane' via Jazzhaus Records in the UK on Monday 6th May.

Originally hailed as a young guitar virtuoso, and a protégé of Walter Trout, Bryant is building a formidable reputation as a leading British blues rock guitar heavyweight in his own right. Recorded as a power trio, the new album was produced by Richard Hammerton (Manic Street Preachers). The new album showcases the evolution of Bryant as guitarist and songwriter, and bursts with power-fuelled originals, groove-driven up-tempo songs, and soulful blues ballads.

"The songs are the result of hard work and have gained considerable complexity," says Danny. This is evident not only in the melodic title track, but also with the ballad 'Can`t Hold On', not to mention said funky-bluesy 'Greenwood 31', a song that harks back to a similar urgency in the style of Jimi Hendrix mixed with the attitude of Lenny Kravitz.

Inspired by American rockers including John Hiatt and Bruce Springsteen, Bryant looks back on some of his career highlights. “Recording 2012’s live album 'Nightlife' was a milestone,” reflects Danny. “Over the past few years we’ve constantly toured Europe, and in doing so, we have broken new ground both musically and geographically.”

'Hurricane' tracklisting is as follows:

1. Prisoner Of The Blues
2. Greenwood 31
3. Can't Hold On
4. Hurricane
5. Devil`s Got A Hold On Me
6. I'm Broken
7. All Or Nothing
8. Losing You
9. Painkiller
