Barbados-born beauty Rihanna has been forced to cancel the Boston leg of her Diamonds world tour, after coming down with laryngitis.
RiRi was set to perform in TD Garden - in Boston, Massachusetts - last night, but had to pull out of the gig after doctors told her she could not perform because of the illness. Luckily, she’s still expected to take to the stage in Baltimore tomorrow, and will rearrange her TD Garden show for a later date.
Breaking the news via a statement, Live Nation told fans: “Unfortunately, following her sold-out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening.”
The star has taken to her Twitter to apologise to fans, and wrote:
#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down
