Ozonna is a young, extrovert music artist hailing from West London - one who sometimes may be too outspoken but is equally insightful and endearing. As a kid he discovered MTV and, finding a new energy and passion for music, picked up a Ukulele to create his own songs. He’s been writing songs and perfecting his craft ever since. To this day he writes songs with that very same instrument – the sound tuning in perfectly with his uniquely highly powered voice.
Over the past year Ozonna has been busy getting his music out in an ‘under the radar’ fashion, testing the water through his MySpace and Twitter channels. Sure enough, this approach generated a real buzz with Marina and the Diamonds and Paris Hilton counting themselves as fans.
Citing Lady Gaga as his idol, Ozonna insists all of his songs are about defining and being proud of your ‘inner’ self and, ultimately changing your life for the better. His debut EP ‘I Love Me’, released last year due to fanbase demand, features his unique blend of Electro pop and twisted soul. The title track ‘I Love Me’ is a strong empowerment song about confidence and excelling yourself in everyday life. The remaining songs ‘Fearless Tears’ and ‘I Love Me’ (We Have Band remix) follow the same route with a highly imaginative approach to being both inspirational and quite different in sound to most contemporary pop.
And now Ozonna wishes to gift his fans another heartfelt and inspirational tune: ‘Me & You on Top’. The lyrics to ‘Me & You on Top’ are infectious, witty, and intelligent - with a leading strong pop hook and a definitive message to deliver. The track is a total sonic inspiration to other people, whoever they are, whatever they do and however they look. Fans are able to download the track for free from Ozonna’s official Facebook page.
Ozonna has just returned from the bustle of NYC where he has been working with some big name producers and will go back in April to continue writing. Meanwhile he is currently hard at it in the studio with some of the best UK producers working on material for his debut album. He also hopes to tour the UK very soon to see his fans in the flesh.
