SFX And ID&T Announce First Ever TomorrowWorld - The US Version Of TomorrowLand

SFX Entertainment have purchased a 75% stake in events company ID&T - resulting in the first Tomorrowland outside of Belgium being announced.

The massive dance festival is one of the most popular in the world, and now attracts crowds of up to 200,000 people - it’s been reported that at one point during ticket sales for 2012, over 2,000,000 people were on the waiting list.

With such a lucrative opportunity, it's no surprise SFX decided to grab a 75% stake in organisers ID&T - and the new partnership have now lined-up a new festival, dubbed TomorrowWorld, to take place in America.

Set to go ahead in the last week of September, it’ll be taking place in Atlanta, Georgia - with the location described as ‘almost God made for a festival’. Fans are being asked to register for tickets already - and there’s expected to be a huge number involved, with 500,000 people already signed up for newsletters.

Speaking to Billboard, SFX chairman Robert F. X. Sillerman said: “We very quickly got to know one another and we respect them so much and their talents, the way they approach things, and I think they recognize what we bring to the table. It just made sense to do the whole thing.”

A new YouTube video - which you can check out below - accompanies the news, along with this caption: “In the flames of desire, a unique bottle has been created out of the purest crystal.
Molded by century old traditions, carrying the magical concoction to be released into the world. People of Tomorrowland, we welcome you to our second home...TomorrowWorld.”

The Global Journey ticket sale starts April 24th while the USA ticket sale starts on April 27th. Tickets then go on worldwide sale from May 4th.
