Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has been confirmed as one of the many superstars who’re lending their talents to Queens of the Stone Age’s forthcoming new album ‘...Like Clockwork’.
Announced earlier this week, the album is set to be one of the biggest of the year, and the list of guesting musicians and artists already includes Foo Fighters star Dave Grohl, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor, Sir Elton John, Scissor Sisters man Jake Shears, former bassist Nick Oliveri, and UNKLE’s James Lavelle - and now, indie-rock icon Alex Turner has been confirmed too.
The announcement is the latest in a string of good news for QOTSA fans, who were yesterday informed that the band would be extensively touring in support of the record, which hits shelves in June.
Though no official tour dates have surfaced as of yet, the band have confirmed a range of festival performances, including Benicassim in Spain, Peace and Love in Sweden, Lollapaooza in Brazil, and Rokslide in Denmark, as well as Download Festival in June.
As no official dates have been announced as of yet, you’ll have to stick with Stereoboard to find out when and where the band will be performing in the UK. For now, you can grab yourself tickets to Download Festival, which takes place on June 14-16th - check the link below to find tickets.
