Texas-based psych-rockers The Black Angels have announced a pair of UK live dates today, in support of their latest album ‘Indigo Meadow’.
With the record set to hit shelves on Tuesday (April 2nd), the band have lined-up a number of UK and European gigs, which features two stops over here in Britain, as well as gigs in France, Germany, and Holland.
Electrowerkz in London (on June 26th) will host the first, followed by dates in Lausanne and Berlin. The band will also perform at festivals across Europe, including Hop Farm Festival in Kent and Les Eurockeennes in France.
The four piece - Alex Maas (vocals, bass, organ/drone machine), Christian Bland (guitar, drone machine/organ), Kyle Hunt (keys, percussion, bass, guitar) and Stephanie Bailey (drums, percussion) - are currently in the middle of an eight week tour of the US. Last week, they played to rapturous crowds in their hometown of Austin at SXSW, meaning they’ll be more than warmed up for their EU excursion later this year.

25th June – Electrowerkz, London (UK)
1st July - Les Docks, Lausanne (SWI)
5th July - Hop Farm Festival, Kent (UK)
