Tickets For The Rolling Stones Hyde Park Shows To Cost Over £300, According To Reports

Wednesday, 03 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Tickets for The Rolling Stones highly-anticipated gigs at London’s Hyde Park - which haven’t yet officially been announced - are expected to top £300, as the incredible hype around the band and their live gigs picks up once again.

The legendary British rockers exploded back onto the live music scene last year, performing a series of massive - and extremely expensive - gigs in the UK and US. After being confirmed for Glastonbury Festival last week, the band are expected to announce a US tour and a couple of Hyde Park gigs later today.

Though last year’s gigs sold out in minutes, there were a lot of outrage over ticket prices and the trend looks set to continue this year, with potential tickets predicted to cost at least £95 + fees for the cheapest option.

Despite tickets for the tour, which is expected to rake in over £10million each, costing an arm and a leg, sources close to the band insist that tickets ‘will suit all pockets’, and won’t outprice regular music fans.

The source told The Daily Record: “Some of the tour tickets are going to be costly, but this is the biggest band in the world. There will be dates which will suit all pockets.”

The source went on to add that it was ‘cheaper than Madonna’, though we’re not too sure that’ll ease the pain of forking out hard-earned cash for a pair. But, with people like Beyonce selling tickets for £60, it’s not really surprising that tickets will cost so much.

Before worrying about how you’re going to pay for a ticket, though, you’ll want to make sure there’s actually a tour to attend - so stay with Stereoboard, and we’ll let you know what’s up as soon as the announcement drops! Watch our site from 2pm onwards to find out more.
