Always one of the most popular areas of Green Man festival, the beginning of Chai Wallahs line-up for 2013 has now been revealed.
Possibly the area that best shows off Green Man’s individuality, Chai Wallahs is a place where you can find organic food, herbal shots, crazy hookahs and strong Turkish coffee throughout the day and night to a backdrop of music ranging from chilled out reggae to pumping dance beats all under an enormous Bedouin marquee, always useful when the rain comes!
The non-stop line-up of both live bands and DJ sets takes you on a musical journey from dub and hip-hop to folk, blues, acid jazz, afrobeat, techno and drum and bass sometimes all mixed together.
The line-up so far includes: Babyhead, Benji Boko, Birth of Joy, Cocos Lovers, Dr Syntax & The Mouseoutfit, Heymoonshaker, Honeyfeet, Mankala, Pat Dam Smyth, Resonators, Riot Jazz Brass Band, Solo Banton, Syd Arthur, The Intermission Project, We Were Evergreen, Will & The People, Wille & The Bandits, Will Varley, Yumi & The Weather and Zimbaremabwe with more to be announced soon.
