IM:Ltd Release New Gerwin Single 'Against The Clock'

With a name like ‘Against the Clock’, you’d expect to find that French drum and bass gurus IM:Ltd are hard-pressed to meet their deadlines and get their tunes out. Well, in actual fact, the label is pretty much throwing music at us this year, and we’ve been treated to two brand new releases jam-packed with hellfire and danger for your lucky ears.
The first - Gerwin’s new single ‘Against the Clock’, backed with ‘See Thru My Eyes’ - is destined to be one of hardest tracks of 2013, and it’s only April. Though it may be a bit tricky for you DJs to mix at the start, I doubt that’s gonna stop many - if any - of you slamming it straight into your sets the next time some (un)lucky promoter unwittingly puts you onto his bill.
As far as the darker drum and bass spectrum is concerned, this is as hard as it gets - deep throbbing bass is expertly intertwined with pounding, rolling percussion, and even a trap-style grunt is thrown into make sure you realise this tune means business. And, not to leave you completely broken and battered by the A-side, the flip provides a much smoother alternative - one of those tunes you mix on a lazy Sunday, rather than on a pre-drinking Friday.
