Justin Bieber Causes Backlash After Anne Frank 'Belieber' Comment

Canadian superstar Justin Bieber hasn’t had the best 2013 so far - he’s got into a load of trouble here in the UK following his recent tour, was caught smoking weed, and even abandoned his pet monkey in Germany recently. Now, he’s come under fire again - for stating that he hoped Anne Frank would have been a Belieber!
The 19 year-old made the rather insensitive comments during a trip to the Anne Frank museum in Amsterdam - which he’s currently touring (wonder if he’ll be visiting the shops?!) - where he wrote in the guestbook: “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”
Though the museum declared his message as being ‘not very sensible’, they have defended Bieber’s actions despite a serious online backlash. They said: “He's 19. It's a crazy life he's living, he didn't mean bad… and also it's nice that he made the effort, he didn't have to come.”
