Poliça Unveil New Single ’Tiff’ Featuring Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon - Listen Now

Monday, 15 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

American indie-rockers Poliça have unveiled a brand new single alongside Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon - who once described the group as ‘the best band I’ve ever heard’.

Due for release on June 10th via Memphis Industries, ‘Tiff’ is a slice of brooding R&B-inflected pop with lead singer Channy Leaneagh sharing vocal duties with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver - a long-time fan of the band.

Poliça’s debut album ‘Give You the Ghost’ was one of 2012’s breakout debut albums, with every single released being playlisted at 6 Music, as well as ‘Dark Star’ and ‘Lay Your Cards Out’ earning a playlist spot on Radio 1, as well as ‘Record of the Week’ accolades coming from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Fearne Cotton.

Having notched up two US TV performances on Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel, they played a bewitching set on Later with Jools Holland and were championed from all corners of the press -  hitting ‘album of the year’ lists in The Guardian, NME, Sunday Times, Drowned In Sound and many more. They topped all this off with a stellar sold out show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire in March earlier this year.

They’ve now got a brand new single to show you - and you can check it out below!
