Amelia Lily Not Phased By Radio Play Snub

Monday, 22 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

18 year-old pop starlet Amelia Lily has opened up about the apparent lack of support she receives from radio stations, following the release of recent single ‘Party Over’.

The X Factor singer is gearing up for the release of her debut studio album ‘Be a Fighter’, and is trying to promote it as best as she can - ‘Party Over’ is the third single she’s unleashed from the record. But, although she’s grateful for all the support she has received, she’s a little unhappy that UK radio stations haven’t been playing her music as much she’d expect.

Lily told Amazepop:

“Radio always change who they wanna add or whatever, but I kinda just am grateful of the position I'm in. I've got a great team who do their best, and my fans are amazing as well. As long as people like the song, that's all I'm bothered about. If it's played on radio, amazing, but it's just amazing to be even played anywhere, you know?”

You can check out the new single below - look out for her album ‘Be a Fighter’, out May 20th!
