Chris Brown May Work On Country Album One Day

Wednesday, 24 April 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

American superstar Chris Brown may work on a country album one day, stating that he wants ‘to always be able to do any kind of music I want’.

Brown is currently known for his blend of R&B, hip-hop, and pop, but is hoping that as he gets older, he’ll be in the position where he can create any kind of sound that he wants - even suggesting that he may one day work on a country record.

Speaking to US radio station Power 98, Brown explained:

“I want to always be able to do any kind of music I want. When I get older, I might want to do a country album. Music is for everybody. When you put genres on music, you kind of segregate it. That's what music is. It evokes emotion. I wanna mean something to the world. I don't just wanna do kiddie pop music. I want people to actually be able to grow up with my music. I'm just passionate about anything I do. I'm a grown man. I wear my heart on my sleeve. If I love, I love hard.”

Brown has a brand new album called ‘X’ scheduled for a release later this year - check out his new single ‘Fine China’ from it embedded below.
