Liam Gallagher Reportedly Booted From The Stone Roses' Dubai Gig

Wednesday, 01 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Liam Gallagher, as you all know very well, is no stranger to getting himself into a fight or argument. In recent years, we’ve seen him brawl and quarrel with those close to him - from hurling abuse at fellow musicians like Mumford and Sons, to causing trouble at his own favourite team’s football matches, to having an almighty fall-out with his own brother Noel, infamously causing the end of Oasis.

Now, Liam has managed to pick a fight with his favourite band The Stone Roses, after acting up on their world tour.

Liam is known to be a massive fan of the band - so much so that he managed to get Beady Eye to warm-up for the fellow Mancunians when they played their massive live gigs at Heaton Park in summer last year. But now, Liam’s impolite and drunken behaviour has landed him in hot water with The Stone Roses, according to reports in The Sun this week.

A source told the paper:

“It's all gone a bit sour recently with Liam and The Roses. There was an ugly incident in Dubai when Liam said a few things that were totally out of order. It didn't go down well at all. Ian, John and Reni are all low-profile lads and don't subscribe to aggro of any sort.

“They were also getting a little bit pissed off with him ballooning on the side of the stage every time they played a gig. He had to be escorted off at one show and put behind the mixing desk because he was making such a scene. He was then slung out of there for spilling beer on the desk. He was generally being a bit of a knob - and The Roses can't be arsed with the pantomime.”
