Billie Joe Armstrong, frontman of American punk-rockers Green Day, has described Korean megastar Psy as ‘the herpes of music’!
Armstrong, who recently entered rehab to recover from addictions to alcohol and prescription drugs, is clearly not a fan of the world-famous singer, and likened him to notorious STD herpes - because of his recent return with new track ‘Gentleman’.
Posting via Instagram, along with a picture of Psy doing his trademark dance, Armstrong said:
“This dude is the herpes of music. Once you think it's gone, it comes back. #herpes #flareup #pleasegoaway.”
Green Day recently made their live return following Armstrong’s stint in rehab earlier this year, and the band look like they’re in good condition ahead of their massive gig in the Emirates Stadium in London this June.
