LTJ Bukem And Good Looking Return With Brand New In Session Mix

Friday, 10 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

If you know anything about drum and bass, then you’ve likely heard of the mighty LTJ Bukem before - either by listening to his mixes, hearing one of his tracks, seeing him DJ live, or simply through a friend. Unfortunately, the legend hasn’t been as active recently as he was in the 90s, but this year he returns with a brand new compilation - which he’s expertly mixed in his trademark style for our listening pleasure.

Coming back just in time for summer, Bukem brings an album full of liquid sunshine that wouldn’t have looked out of place if they’d seen a Good Looking release back in the golden era when Bukem put out classics like ‘Atlantis’ and ‘Horizons’. In fact, the incredible Marky and S.P.Y rework of ‘Atlantis’ and Technicolour’s wicked ‘Music’ remix both feature on the mix itself.

Bukem couldn’t have picked a better time to return to the In Sessions we all know and love - some of the liquid jungle that is surfacing today is incredible, and he’s signed up some of the best and most talented producers on offer.

On the mix you’ll find pieces of art crafted by the likes of Flowrian, Dynamic, Paul T, Paul SG, Random Movement, dRamatic & dbAudio, and more, as well as older names like EZ Rollers, Marky, and Furney, all mixed together seamlessly in the way only LTJ knows how. If you were wondering what Good Looking Records have been up to recently, this mix tells you all you need to know.

Out May 27th, there’s a couple of different versions - one standalone version, one featuring the vocal talents of MC Deeizm, and another featuring her male counterpart Stamina MC. There’s also an unmixed version so you can hear these epic tracks in full - so, everything you could ask for is catered to. You can check out some previews of the tracks below, as well it's tracklist - you can buy it when it’s out here. Also, if you like it, become a fan of Bukem on Facebook - click here!
