Lee Evans Set to Announce 2014 UK Arena Tour

Monday, 13 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Hilarious sweatbox Lee Evans is set to announce his hugely-anticipated 2014 UK arena tour tomorrow - and we’re more than excited for it!

The award-winning entertainer is one of the country’s most beloved stand-up comedians, and any news of a Lee Evans tour announcement always gets our readers - and ourselves - super excited. Well, tomorrow, it looks like another one of those very announcements is to made, and once again, the hype is growing to humongous levels!

Set to take place next year, the new tour will see Evans travelling across the UK and cracking up arenas full of fans in a way only he knows how. Gigs have already been confirmed at The Brighton Centre in Brighton for August, and tickets are set to go on sale next Monday at 9am - you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out where else Evans will be reaching.

The comedian, whose extremely animated act involves a lot of falling over, manic laughing and buckets of sweat (as well as some jokes!), last hit the road for his ‘Roadrunner’ tour in late 2011. After the likes of his XL, Wired and Wonderful, and Big tours, he had big boots to full - but returned with one of his best shows ever.

Earning rave reviews, loads of ticket sales (he was forced to add 17 new dates due to demand, and sold £7million of tickets on their first day of sale), and even a shed-load of DVD sales with it’s ensuing Live at the O2 release, the tour was one of, if not the most successful tour of his career. So, we’ve got rather high hopes for his latest one!

To get you in the mood, here’s his Live at the O2 DVD streaming from YouTube - check it out below. Will you be grabbing Lee Evans tickets when he announces the tour? Leave us a comment in the box underneath.
