Suede, Primal Scream and Marr Line Up Mercury Sessions

Suede, Primal Scream and legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr are gearing up to headline the latest edition of Channel 4’s Barclaycard Mercury Prize Sessions.
Suede will kick off proceedings on May 22, performing a brace of new tracks plus their seminal single Animal Nitrate, with Marr dropping in on June 26 and Primal Scream rounding things off on July 10.
The sessions will be hosted at Covent Garden’s Hospital Club Studio, with the run of shows also including performances from current indie-pop darlings Bastille, Palma Violets, Tom Odell, AlunaGeorge and Laura Mvula.
The broadcasts will also include backstage featurettes and interviews with performers, while extra footage will be available to fans at www.mercuryprize.com/sessions.
