Rod Stewart Confirmed To Perform In Brand New Glasgow Arena The Hydro This September & Tickets

Superstar rocker Rod Stewart has been confirmed to perform in Scotland’s brand new venue The Hydro this September, making him one of the very first acts to play there.
The 68 year-old announced a four-date UK arena tour for September last Friday, but that tour has now turned into a five-date affair with the addition of a massive gig in the brand-spanking-new Glasgow arena The Hydro, which officially opens in September.
Set to take place on September 30th, tickets for the gig go on sale this Friday (May 24th) at 9am, and will cost you between £60.00-70.00 + fees - you can find yours through Stereoboard using the dates and links below. Tickets for his other tour dates go on sale the same day.
The news follows Stewart’s first UK number one album for 34 years, with his brand new record ‘Time’ going straight in at #1 this week. This means he’ll have a selection of 13 new tracks to perform at the gigs, as well as his super-selling back-catalogue.
News of the gig was broken via The Hydro’s website earlier today, with the superstar telling them:
“I have been looking forward to this as I've watched The Hydro take shape. 2013 is a momentous year for me. I cannot wait to get back to Scotland and perform in front of a live audience at this spectacular venue.”
