The Enemy, Kids In Glass Houses And The Futureheads Announced As Bon Jovi Stadium Tour Support Acts

Tuesday, 21 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

The support acts for some of Bon Jovi’s up and coming UK stadium gigs have been unveiled - and it appears that you Birmingham, Cardiff, and Sunderland based fans are in for a treat this summer!

Promoters AEG Live broke the news earlier today via a Tweet, revealing that English indie-rockers The Enemy will be warming the crowd up at the Villa Park gig in Birmingham on June 9th. The band released their third studio album ‘Streets in the Sky’ last year, their third UK Top 10 record release.

Bon Jovi fans heading to the June 12th gig in Cardiff’s Cardiff City Stadium will be treated to the sounds of local alt-rockers Kids in Glass Houses. The five-strong outfit recently finished recording what will be their fourth studio album, meaning you’ll probably hear a new track or two.

The following day, Jon Bon Jovi and co. head up to the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, and another local band - post-punk outfit The Futureheads - will act as support. They released album number five last year, and will come fresh from their set at RockNess Festival 2013.

No support acts have been announced for their gigs in Manchester, Dublin, or Glasgow as of yet, so stick with Stereoboard to see if any more names are unveiled. For tickets, check the dates and links below - be quick, they’re likely to sell out!
