Tiesto, Daft Punk & Paul Oakenfold Top The EDM Rich List

Wednesday, 29 May 2013 Written by Elliott Batte

Wealth calculators Celebrity Net Worth have unveiled their list of the Top 20 richest EDM musicians and DJs - and trance megastar Tiesto has come out on top once again.

The Dutchman has long been one of the biggest names in dance music, and its no surprise he’s topped the poll once again - the company estimates he rakes in, on average, £165,000 a night - something which has helped amass an estimated fortune of £50million ($75m).

Unsurprisingly, the two Frenchmen that form house duo Daft Punk occupy joint second, following the release of their recent fourth album ‘Random Access Memories’ - which has seen them topping charts across the globe. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter have earned a tasty £40million each!

London-based trance DJ Paul Oakenfold takes the third spot, holding a hefty £38million in his bank account, while Paul Van Dyk and John Digweed follow, with £35million and £30million respectively. Dubstep superstar Skrillex has found his way into the Top 20 - he’s doubled his money since last year, and now sits on a cool £11million.
