Lostprophets Frontman Ian Watkins Denies All Sex Offence Charges As Court Case Kicks Off

Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins has denied all of the sexual offence charges against him, following the start of his court case this morning.
Earlier this year, the music world was shocked by the revelation that Watkins had been arrested on a number of child sex offences, which were later revealed to include conspiring with a woman to rape a one year-old child, conspiring to abuse two young children, producing, possessing, and distributing indecent images of children - and even possessing extreme animal pornography.
Now, following a number of bail denials, his court case has kicked off - and, like he promised back in March, he’s denied all of the 23 charges against him.
According to the BBC, 35 year-old Watkins appeared at Cardiff Crown Court via a video link, alongside the two women also involved in the case - who’ve also denied sexual offences against a young person. Their next hearing is set to take place on Thursday, though it’s unknown how long the case will go on for - especially as they’ve all denied the allegations.
Watkins has reportedly released a statement since the trial, in which he claims that he’ll continue to try and clear his name of the charges, which are believed to date to as far back as 2007.
