London’s electronic indie outfit Bibelots have unveiled the brand new music video for their track ‘Devil’s Highway’ - taken from the EP of the same name.
The band released the ‘Devil’s Highway’ EP at the start of the week (Monday June 10th!), and it’s lead single and title track was recorded and produced by master remixer Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream, Kasabian) at the Lightship 95 Studio in East London.
The pairing came about when Jagz sent out a tweet saying ‘why can’t band’s write good choruses anymore?’ - to which the band responded with a demo of ‘Devils Highway’. Jagz loved it! Commenting on working with Jagz, the guys said
“If there was one producer we could all work with it would have been Jagz!”
With big choruses (as mentioned!), swaggering self-assuredness and a sound reminiscent of a sleazier early incarnation of Kasabian, Bibelots have been captivating audiences all over the country with big beats, bluesy guitars and pulsating synths. Last year the band were crowned HMV’s ‘Next Big Thing’, and lived up to the name with a number of high profile support slots and festival appearances at Isle of Wight and Standon Calling.
If you’re a fan of the band, or even if you still haven’t yet checked them out, you can watch their new video below!
