Prior to the Rolling Stones’ upcoming performance on Glastonbury's Pyramid stage, ticket demand for their July Hyde Park shows has risen by over 100%, according to ticket marketplace Seatwave.
Hundreds of fans who missed out on Glastonbury tickets are avidly seeking out tickets for the veteran rockers’ Hyde Park shows, ahead of the band’s highly anticipated appearance at Glastonbury this weekend. Louise Mullock, spokesperson for Seatwave, says:
“Demand for Rolling Stones tickets is always high, however in the days preceding their Glastonbury performance we have seen ticket demand surge beyond expectations. Despite their advancing years, Sir Mick and his cohorts are still able draw huge audiences.”
The Rolling Stones confirmed their return to the iconic Hyde Park venue, 44 years after their previous visit in 1969, back in April.
