Jessie J Leaves The Voice UK To Concentrate On New Album

Platinum-selling singer-songwriter Jessie J has decided not to continue as a judge on The Voice UK, following the end of the second series of the show.
The star is finishing what will be her second record, and has made the decision not to renew her role on the show’s panel - though she’s claimed she’d still like to be involved with the show one way or another.
Jessie has already postponed a UK tour to accommodate for her studio work, and has admitted that it takes ‘priority’ over anything else - including her spot on The Voice. The BBC have now confirmed that they’ll be searching for her replacement.
Breaking the news via Twitter, the star told fans:
I've absolutely loved my time on The Voice and I hope everyone saw and knows how passionately I felt (cont) pic.twitter.com/N3nd3ShG7I
BBC controller of entertainment commissioning Mark Linsey has also commented on her departure, saying:
“We're so sorry to see Jessie go as she's been an exceptional coach on - and advocate for - The Voice, but we totally support her decision to leave due to touring commitments overseas. We very much hope that Jessie will remain part of the show and come back and perform for us next series. In the meantime, we will now start the search for a new coach.”
The future of the show’s three other judges - Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue, and will.i.am - is now shrouded in uncertainty, as they’ve previously claimed that they’d only keep their place on the panel if they were all to work together.
