Travis Announce October UK & Ireland Headline Tour

Glaswegian indie kings Travis have confirmed details of a seven-date UK and Ireland headline tour for October. The new trek will see Travis promoting their seventh studio album ‘Where You Stand’.
‘Where You Stand’ is set for release on August 19 via Travis’ own Red Telephone Box label. The album was written and recorded in London, Norway and New York, after which the band decamped to Berlin’s Hansa Studios for production. Commenting on their return, bassist Dougie Payne said: “You stay away as long as it takes, so you feel that hunger and desire to get back to it same as you did at the start.”

Travis performed a one-off show at London's Islington Academy last month, the band will return for a full tour this autumn kicking-off at Bristol Academy on October 19. A show at Leeds Academy on October 28 will conclude the tour.
