The origins of Stereoboard.com started out as a Stereophonics fan page in March 1997, the site later became the officially endorsed site Stereophonics.co.uk in 1998. In an effort to offer our visitors the best possible Stereophonics site we became independent from the bands record label in 2000.

Stereoboard.com, based in Cardiff, was officially launched in 2002 as an attempt to refocus the site as more than just an artist site, but still keeping the roots of the site clearly focused as an online community for music fans.

In 2003 Stereoboard.com began branching out from its humble beginnings by offering music news, reviews, downloads, merchandise and concert tickets plus many more new features to its readers, and the appeal of the site started to broaden to new audiences around the globe.

By the end of 2004 Stereoboard.com was being visited by thousands of music fans every single day from hundreds of countries around the world.

Stereoboard v3.0 relaunched in 2006, and yet again in 2009, offering a brand new site to its users. The site continues to grow and expand.
