Lawson's Andy Brown: "I'll Run Through London Naked If We Hit #1 This Weekend"

Andy Brown - frontman of British pop-rock quartet Lawson - has promised that he’ll streak through London should his band hit #1 with their new single Brokenhearted!
The claim comes after a chance meeting with American singer Robin Thicke, who they’ll be competing with in the charts this weekend. Thicke’s track, Blurred Lines, sits at #2 in the UK Singles chart right now. Having shared some banter with the star, Brown left the meeting with one promise - to run through London naked should they hit the top spot next weekend!
“We bumped into Robin Thicke in the studio yesterday. We are loving him at the moment, can't get enough of him so it's pretty full on to think we are now up against him in the charts with Brokenhearted this weekend. I promised that if we make it to number one that I'll run through London naked.”
He continued:
“If we beat Robin Thicke then maybe we can make a Thicke/Lawson remix with his video and Lawson in the background instead of the girls he had... I'm not certain he would go for it though!”
So there you have it, you may or may not see Brown running through London town naked next weekend - but whether you do or don’t, you’ll be able to catch him performing alongside Lawson at one of their up and coming 2013 UK gigs.
