Robert Plant, Van Morrison And More Confirmed For BluesFest

Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Bobby Womack and Chris Rea are among some big names confirmed for BluesFest 2013 at the Royal Albert Hall.
The four-day festival will take over the iconic venue between October 29 and November 1, with dual headline slots set to be performed in the main hall - one with doors at 6.15 or 6.45pm, the other at 10.00pm - as well as a number of shows in smaller spaces around the arena.
Plant - the former frontman of Led Zeppelin - will take the stage alongside his new band, the Sensational Space Shifters, in the later slot on October 31, as will Womack (October 29) and the Gregory Porter Band (October 30).
Van Morrison (October 30), Rea (October 31) and a collaboration between Tedeschi Trucks Band and Mavis Staples (October 29) will fill the earlier slots, as well as an All Star Tribute To Bobby Bland on the final evening.
Also confirmed to perform are Dr. Feelgood, Cerys Matthews and Huey Morgan, among others, while in the past the festival has hosted BB King, Robert Cray, Dr. John, Jamie Cullum, Booker T, Tom Jones, Erykah Badu and Southside Johnny.
Tickets for BluesFest 2013 are on sale at 9am on July 19.
