DJ Fresh has unveiled the video for his new single Earthquake, a collaboration with Mad Decent label boss Diplo that features the vocal talents of Dominique Young Unique.
Premiered by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, who made it his Hottest Record in the World, Earthquake is the first single off DJ Fresh's new album - due for release next year - and also features in the soundtrack for the movie Kickass 2.
The new track is already destroying dancefloors and festivals alike, with DJ Fresh playing a packed Summer of DJ gigs and live shows, including Wireless, Global Gathering and V Festival and more to be announced.
DJ and producer Daniel Stein, a.k.a. DJ Fresh, has carved out a successful career as a producer, label boss (founding Breakbeat Kaos with fellow drum ‘n’ bass luminary Adam F) and artist in his own right, recently scoring two Number 1s with Louder and Hot Right Now (ft Rita Ora), which were the UK’s first ever dubstep and drum ‘n’ bass Number 1s, respectively. Recently signed in America to Columbia Records, home of other successful British exports Adele, One Direction and Calvin Harris, DJ Fresh looks set to go global in 2013.
Earthquake is released on August 18 through Ministry Of Sound.
